Specifications of the Royal Berkey Water Filter System
Constructed of highly polished 304 stainless steel, the system comes complete with two purification elements and utilizes the latest technological advances. This system has a storage capacity of 12.3 liters (3.25 gallons) and when in use it stands 59cms (23”) in height with a diameter of 24cms (9.5”). For travel and transport the upper chamber nests within the lower chamber and stands only 39cms (15.25”) in height.
Configured with two Black Berkey purification elements the system will purify up to 15.1 liters (4 Gallons) per hour*. This system can be expanded to use four purification elements and is capable of purifying up to 30.3 liters (8 Gallons) per hour*. (* Flow rate calculated with upper chamber full to top. Flow rate decreases as water level declines)
